Cargo Types

We routinely ship steel pipe, heavy machinery, steel rail, cross ties, boats, yachts, and roll-on-roll-off cargo (RO/RO).

We are able to quote any cargo. Please use the form below or send inquiries to and our logistics team will send you a quote.

Pipe Nesting and Relocating

We developed a complete steel pipe nesting operation and facility. The facility has tracking software as well as a 4.5 acre yard that houses our lifting equipment including three forklifts with 36,000 lbs. capacity. Our experienced engineers design the bundles to maximize the pipe volume-to-weight ratio in the containers to ensure the most efficient shipping method. This is a niche market for GMI, allowing us to maintain our competitive rates with ocean shipping carriers which can be utilized by our customers.

Heavy Machinery

We ship excavators, tractors, loaders, harvesters, locomotives, scrapers, or any kind of heavy machinery in containers, RO/RO, and break bulk. Our experienced warehouse team will do what others can’t; we will load and move your heavy equipment anywhere around the world.

Our customers save a substantial amount of money while shipping heavy machinery with us. We offer professional equipment dismantling and container loading for you. We have contacts with warehouses across the country that will help you to save money for inland equipment transportation.

We export any kind of heavy equipment exported in containers, no matter size, brand and model.

Bulk Cargo

Break Bulk Cargo is oversized, overweight, and over-dimensional cargo shipped in individual pieces (drilling equipment, yachts, transformers, machinery, ore and other over-dimensional cargo that does not fit in ocean containers). We work directly with the carriers and manage the complete shipment from delivering the cargo to port, loading on the vessel, and delivering to the port of destination.

Boat / Yacht

We offer the following services for boats and yachts

  • Lift-on lift-off

  • Deck Cargo

  • Inland Boat Transportation

  • RO/RO (Roll-on Roll off)

  • Containerized Boat Transportation

  • Float-on float-off

We have the capability to provide the specialized hardware required to handle the over-dimensional cargo travel by road and sea. Additionally, we have the in-house capability to serve in accordance with the requirements and regulations of moving over-dimensional cargo by roads and sea. Over-sized cargo by nature needs around the clock attention due to the state and city permits required for all inland routes until it reaches the port. This requires the cargo to travel at certain hours due to the need to assemble and disassemble power lines and telephone poles, as well as comply with permitted bridge hours.
